Dr. Jayesh Pandya

Dr. Jayesh Pandya has an extensive work experience in the life sciences, pharma, biotech, health tech and IT domains. Dr. Jayesh began their career in 2003 as a Research Fellow at the Indian Institute of Technology in Kanpur, followed by a Research Fellow position at JNCASR in 2004. In 2006, they became a Scientist at Life Technologies, before taking on a Doctoral Researcher role at Karolinska Institutet in 2008. In 2015, they became a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Gothenburg, and in 2017 they were an Associate Manager for Drug Development, Biologics and Strategy at Zydus Group. In 2019, they worked as a Strategy Consultant for Healthcare and Pharma Product & Portfolio at Prescient Healthcare Group. Most recently, in 2020, they became the CEO and Co-founder of Lifelancer, a global platform for freelance, remote jobs and talent hiring in life sciences, pharma and IT.

Dr. Jayesh Pandya's education history includes a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Medical Science from Karolinska Institutet between 2009 and 2014, as well as a Master's degree in Life Sciences from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, India from 2001 to 2003. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including Learning PRINCE2 from LinkedIn in June 2020, Competitive and Market Analysis for Product Managers, Learning Gantt Charts, Project Management Simplified, and Learning GDPR from LinkedIn in March 2019, From Science to Business - Concepts in Biotechnology from the Stockholm School of Entrepreneurship in June 2011, and Qualified in Graduate Aptitude Test In Engineering (GATE) from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras in 2003.
