Lee Hutchinson is a clinical manager for 1800RESPECT at Lifeline Direct since October 2023, having previously served as a practice specialist and clinical supervisor. At NeuroThrive Psychology, Lee functions as a clinical psychologist, providing adult Autism and ADHD assessments. Lee also contributes to academia as an instructor at Monash University and a sessional tutor at Deakin University. Previous roles include senior mental health clinician at Barwon Health, clinical team leader at PANDA, and mental health practitioner at Medibank, where Lee managed triage and crisis interventions. Lee's experience extends to clinical psychologist contracting at headspace, focusing on adolescent assessment and treatment, and senior counsellor at On the Line Australia, overseeing crisis support and training. Lee's educational background includes a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Deakin University, alongside a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.

Lifeline Direct
Lifeline Direct (LLD) is the direct service delivery arm and a fully owned subsidiary of Lifeline Australia (LLA). It was initially established to provide a consolidation pathway for local Lifeline Centres to share resources, skills and experiences in developing a strong service coordination, a culture seeking operational excellence, shared governance activities and improved outcomes for help seekers. The premise of LLD as the direct service delivery arm means that, LLD delivers Lifeline’s 24/7 national crisis support service via 13 11 14 as well as a range of other services including face to face counselling, telehealth services and training. More recently our services have expanded to deliver some of Australia’s most vital free helpline services including MensLine Australia, Suicide Call Back Service, and SuicideLine Victoria. LLD encompasses the Hunter region, Central Coast, Eastern Suburbs-Bondi, New England North West, Northern NSW, Geelong and South West Victoria, Northern and Western Melbourne and Central Australia. LLD as a model focuses on supporting the development and ongoing implementation of suicide prevention and community wellbeing programs in the Centre’s local community, while looking for opportunities to grow Lifeline’s services in geographical areas where they do not currently exist.
