Alena Anderson has a diverse background with experience in various financial and managerial roles. Alena is currently working at Lifelong as the Chief Financial Officer since June 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Tribal Finance Director at Jamestown S'Klallam Tribe from October 2021 to June 2023. Before that, Anderson held the position of Director, Center Business Operations at Seattle Children's from October 2019 to October 2021. Alena also worked as a Research Funding Manager at Allen Institute from January 2017 to October 2019. From November 2012 to January 2017, Anderson was the Global Oncology Deputy Director, Finance at Fred Hutch, and from July 2011 to November 2012, they were the Finance Manager, Global Oncology at the same organization. Alena started their career at ComUnity Lending in December 2000 and held various positions, including Retail Field Operations Team Leader from July 2004 to December 2007 and Retail Support Coordinator from December 2000 to July 2004.
Alena Anderson completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2019. Prior to this, they obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting from San Jose State University in 2005.
