Gerardo Fletes

Gerardo Fletes has a strong background in finance and accounting. Gerardo started their career as a Trainee at ProCredit Bank in 2005 and then became a Financial Trainee at AIS Bakery Experts from 2009 to 2010. Gerardo then joined Avianca as a Financial Analyst from 2010 to 2012, where they evaluated performance and prepared financial reports for the company's leadership. After that, they worked at LifeMiles, starting as a Financial Administrator from 2012 to 2018, where they analyzed financial performance and created budget models. Gerardo then progressed to the role of Financial Planning Manager from 2018 to 2022, leading the forecast and budget process and analyzing financial metrics. Currently, Gerardo is the Director of Accounting and Financial Operations at LifeMiles, where they oversee accounting, financial operations, treasury, and payment methods departments, manages a team of 25 analysts, coordinators and managers, and provides guidance and coaching for goal setting and project prioritization.

Gerardo Fletes completed their education at various institutions. Gerardo obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance, General from ISEADE - FEPADE from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, from 2006 to 2011, they studied at Universidad Galileo, earning a Licenciatura in Business Administration. Additionally, from 2006 to 2008, Gerardo attended the German Business School - Formacion Profesional Dual and obtained a Tecnico en Administracion Industrial degree in Business Administration and Management, General. Finally, their education began with a Bachillerato from Escuela Alemana de San Salvador, which they completed from 1992 to 2004.
