Gene Todd

Gene leads the teams across the firm’s global footprint that provide wealth management advice, solutions and service to individuals, family offices, foundations, and endowments. He is a member of Fiduciary Trust’s Executive, Management, and Operating Committees. He is also a member of Franklin Templeton Management Committee. Gene has more than 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, including wealth management, private equity, venture capital, M&A and leveraged buyouts. Prior to joining Fiduciary Trust, Gene served as head of wealth management at First Bank, Inc., one of the country’s largest family-owned banks. Prior to joining First Bank, he served as director of sales at Key Private Bank and head of the Equity Sponsor Group at National City Corp., now PNC Bank. Prior to joining PNC, he was an investment banker at Morgan Stanley, focused on M&A and capital market transactions for leveraged buyout firms. Gene earned an MBA from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Science degree from The Ohio State University. He is a former board member of the Bank Insurance & Securities Industry (BISA).

Gene is married and has a son, Bryce, who is in college. In his spare time, Gene enjoys working out and riding his Harley.
