Emily Chambers Sharpe

Emily Chambers Sharpe serves as the Grants Director at LifeNet International and the Hospitality Director at St. Martin's Episcopal Church, both positions held since April 2025. Previously, Emily held significant roles at World Relief, where responsibilities included leading health strategy development and providing technical support to a PEPFAR/USAID project in Malawi. As CEO and President of House Of Mercy Inc, Emily managed a non-profit dedicated to supporting individuals living with HIV/AIDS in the Charlotte, NC area. Additional experience includes leadership roles at the Office of the Global AIDS Coordinator, Medair in North Sudan, and consultancy for health development in Niger. Emily has also contributed to academic research at Boston University and served in leadership positions in international health programs with Samaritan's Purse. Emily holds a Master of Public Health degree in International Health from Boston University and a bachelor's degree from Austin Peay State University.
