Laura Echevarria

Laura Echevarria was the Director of Media Relations and a spokesperson for the National Right to Life Committee for seven years. Before joining NRLC in April of 1994, Ms. Echevarria was a radio announcer, a freelance writer and was active in local politics. Echevarria holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in speech communications. She is currently completing the first of three planned books and recently has written for Touchstone magazine and Human Life Review. She has also been a frequent contributor to the opinion pages of The Free Lance-Star in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Echevarria lives with her husband, their daughter Gabrielle, and their two sons, Peter and Nathan. Both sons have been diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders.
