Ali Mostashari is the CEO and co-founder of LifeNome, a Manhattan-based deep technology startup. Ali has a background in cognitive systems and enterprises, complex knowledge networks, and complex sociotechnical systems. Mostashari served as an associate professor at the School of Systems and Enterprises in the Stevens Institute of Technology from 2008 to 2014. Ali was also the director of the Smart Cities Consortium and the Sociotechnical Systems Graduate Program during their time at Stevens. In October 2014, Mostashari co-founded Vizp, a deep technology startup that transferred its context-rich technology platform to LifeNome in March 2016.
Ali Mostashari was educated at some of the most prestigious schools in the United States. Ali has a Ph.D. in Complex Systems/Technology Management and Policy from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a Master of Science in Civil Engineering/Transportation from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a Master of Science in Engineering Systems/Technology and Policy from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering/Biotechnology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Ali also has a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering/Process Design from Sharif University of Technology. In addition to their academic credentials, they also have certification from Harvard Law School Executive Education in Negotiation and Conflict Resolution and certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice in PRINCE 2 Foundations.
