Allecia Powell

Allecia Powell is a skilled web developer with extensive experience in user interface design and project leadership across various organizations. Currently at Lifeplus since November 2014, Allecia has designed the user interface for the Lifeplus ASAP management system using a range of technologies including PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, AJAX, JSON, and jQuery. Previous experience includes roles as a Webmaster/Web Developer-Project/Technical Lead at FedEx, where Allecia created an iPad user interface for the FedEx Mach DCC system, and as a Web Developer/User Interface Designer at Phi Theta Kappa, providing consultancy on best practices for responsive design. Allecia's foundational experience began at the University of Memphis, where roles included University Webmaster and Web Specialist, contributing to web architecture, server management, and the creation of various web applications. Allecia holds a Master’s degree in Instruction and Curriculum Leadership with a focus on Instructional Design and Technology, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in English with a concentration in Professional, Technical, Business, and Scientific Writing from the University of Memphis.
