Elmer Polite

Elmer Polite is a seasoned healthcare executive with extensive experience in financial leadership roles. Currently serving as President at Lifepoint Health® since December 2020, Elmer has held multiple titles within the organization, including Interim President and Eastern Division Chief Financial Officer. Prior to this, Elmer was Vice President and Chief Financial Executive at Prisma Health from June 2018 to December 2020, and served as Chief Financial Officer at HCA Healthcare from February 2017 to June 2018. Elmer's career includes significant positions as Chief Financial Officer at Community Health Systems, overseeing East Georgia Regional Medical Center and Southern Virginia Regional Medical Center. Elmer holds an MBA in Finance from Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University and two bachelor's degrees in Accounting and Business Administration from South Carolina State University.
