Laurel Merritt

Laurel Merritt serves as the Clinical Improvement Director at Lifepoint Health® since February 2023, focusing on reducing unwarranted care variation and aligning care with best practice guidelines. Prior to this role, Laurel was the Director of Vascular Access at HealthTrust Workforce Solutions from October 2018 to November 2022, where responsibilities included developing and growing vascular access services. Additionally, Laurel managed a team of vascular access specialists at Parallon Workforce Solutions and supervised a PICC team at Medical City Dallas from 2001 to 2012. Laurel's educational background includes a Master’s in Leadership and Management in Nursing from Western Governors University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Duquesne University.
