Mike Kinkade

Mike Kinkade currently serves as the Director of Cyber Defense Management at Lifepoint Health®, a position held since December 2022. Prior to this, Kinkade was an Information Protection Architect at Lifepoint Health® from December 2019 to October 2022, where significant contributions were made in third-party risk management and cloud security strategies adhering to NIST standards. Kinkade's extensive experience also includes serving as Technical Systems Director and Privacy Officer at Cumberland Consulting Group, where Kinkade established the Technical Systems Department and managed IT resources across multiple states, leading security and compliance initiatives, including HITRUST certification. Kinkade's career began as IT Director for the Post Conviction Defender, contributing to both departmental leadership and advisory roles. Educational achievements include a Master's degree in Organizational Leadership and a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems and Mathematics from Middle Tennessee State University, among other academic qualifications.
