Fernando Areias

Fernando Areias is currently the CEO of Liferay Cloud at Liferay. Prior to this, they were with TIM Brasil from September 2006 to March 2012 where they were an Executive Trainee. Fernando has also worked on strategic projects at the consumer market, especially with large retail chains and corporate, where they were responsible for managing the Senior Account Channel.

Fernando Areias holds an executive program certificate from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business in Pricing for Profitability. Fernando also has an MBA in Gestão Empresarial from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas and is a Telecommunications Engineer from Universidade de Pernambuco.

Fernando Areias reports to Bryan Cheung, CEO. A direct report to Fernando Areias is and Igor Arouca - CTO, Liferay Cloud. They are on a team with Brian Kim - COO, JC Choi - CFO, and Caris Chan - Chief Administrative Officer.
