Jason Akram

Jason Akram is an experienced equity research associate at LifeSci Capital LLC, having begun in September 2025. Previously, Jason held significant leadership roles at Scholars of Finance, including Executive Vice President and VP of Finance, while also serving as President of the Stanford Biotechnology Group. Additional experience includes consultancy roles at Radar Therapeutics and Samsara BioCapital, where Jason focused on neurodegenerative diseases and presented strategic analyses to leadership teams. Other positions include CEO and co-founder of PGxCare, city co-leader for Founders Live, and an intern at Kymera Therapeutics, where Jason conducted landscape analyses on AI/ML initiatives. Furthermore, Jason contributed to Alzheimer’s research at the University of California, San Francisco, analyzing RNA sequencing data. Jason holds a Bachelor of Science in Computational Neurobiology from Stanford University, where studies were pursued from September 2021 to June 2025.
