Jonathan Pappas

Jonathan Pappas has extensive work experience in the field of marketing and communications. Jonathan is currently working as the Vice President of Media Relations at LifeSci Communications since February 2021. Prior to that, they founded and served as the President of JPPR Marketing & Communications from April 2020 to February 2021.

Jonathan has also held significant positions at other prestigious companies. At W2O Group, they served as the Group Director of Media Engagement from October 2018 to April 2019. In this role, they focused on maximizing the success of paid, earned, social, and owned media strategies for global healthcare, biotech, and pharmaceutical clients. Jonathan also mentored colleagues on pitching and media relations skills.

Before that, Jonathan worked as the Vice President at Solomon McCown & Co. for a remarkable eight years from February 2010 to October 2018. In this position, they worked closely with senior leadership to develop and drive strategic PR strategies for various global and regional businesses and mission-driven organizations. Jonathan was responsible for account management, media relations, staff leadership, corporate communications, project/event management, communications training, and marketing/business development.

Additionally, Jonathan has gained freelance experience as a contributor, working as a freelance editor and writer from December 2013 to August 2018. Jonathan has also worked as a Media Relations Consultant at CommPac from June 2011 to December 2013, an Account Supervisor at Makovsky from March 2007 to September 2009, and as a Senior Account Executive at Ruder Finn from June 2005 to March 2007.

Jonathan Pappas attended Boston Latin School from 1994 to 2000, where they pursued a college preparatory high school curriculum. Following their graduation from high school, they enrolled at Fordham University in 2000 and completed their studies in 2004. During their time at Fordham University, Jonathan earned a Bachelor's degree in Communications & Media Studies.
