Christoph Wiest, MD/PhD

Christoph Wiest, MD/PhD has diverse work experience in various roles and organizations. In 2017, they attended the highly competitive 8-week summer school, "Neural Systems and Behaviour," at the Marine Biological Laboratory, where they were the only medical student in attendance. In 2018, they worked as a medical student at both the University of Melbourne and the University of Cape Town. In 2019, they served as a Surgery Resident at Sana Kliniken, where they gained experience in general surgery, orthopedics, and interdisciplinary night shifts covering internal medicine and surgical cases. Currently, they are working as a Business Analyst at Lifescience Dynamics Limited starting in 2023.

Christoph Wiest, MD/PhD, began their education in 2011 at Heidelberg University, where they obtained their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in 2018. During their time at Heidelberg University, they focused on the field of Medicine. In 2014 to 2015, they attended Karolinska Institutet to further their studies in Medicine and received another Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree. In 2016 to 2017, they pursued a specialization in Neuroscience at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), earning a third Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree. Currently, they are enrolled at the University of Oxford, where they are working towards a DPhil degree in Neuroscience, a program they began in 2019 and is expected to complete in 2023.
