Niki Mendez has held a variety of roles in the health and wellness industry since 2014. Niki began their career as a Demo Representative at Vega, where they sampled products in multiple retail stores, including Whole Foods Market, Sprouts, and Mother's Market. Niki also worked as a Whole Body Sales Team Member at Whole Foods Market, where they were named Customer Service of the Year in Whole Body Huntington Beach, California in 2014. In addition, they completed an internship at Orange County Nutrition Coaching, where they created and developed nutrition programs, health pamphlets, meal planning, and provided blog posts with health articles, recipes, and food photography. Finally, they were an active participant at the CSU Health Policy Conference, where they networked with CSU public health leaders and discussed future programs with John Nam, legislative assistant to Tom Daly, the Assembly member of the the 69th District. In 2015, they became a Territory Sales Manager at LifeSeasons.
Niki Mendez completed a Bachelor's degree in Community Health Education at California State University, Long Beach from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they attended UC Santa Barbara from 2008 to 2012, studying Film and Media Studies. Niki also holds certifications in C.P.R., First Aid, Wilderness First Aid, and Certified Herbal Apprentice from Gaia Herbs.
