Cheryl Phipps

Cheryl Phipps has extensive experience in nonprofit leadership and developmental disabilities services. Currently a board member for United Way of Yavapai County since July 2018, Cheryl previously served on the Board of Directors for People Who Care from January 2019 to November 2022, an organization focused on supporting adults in their homes through various services. Cheryl held the position of Superintendent at both Hamilton County Developmental Disabilities Services and Licking County Board of MR/DD, overseeing a significant number of individuals with developmental disabilities. Cheryl's educational background includes a Juris Doctorate from Capital University Law School and advanced degrees in Vocational Rehabilitation from the University of Kentucky, along with a Bachelor's degree in Biology and Sociology from Western Kentucky University.
