Emily Gentry has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Emily started their career as a Cashier/Sandwich Artist at Subway in 2006, where they learned the importance of teamwork and money management. Emily then worked as a Cashier at Hardees, where they focused on providing excellent customer service. In 2004, Emily co-owned and worked as a landscaper at B and B Lawncare, which taught their the value of education and hard work. From 2007 to 2009, they served as a Custodian at Warren Rural Electric Company, where they had the flexibility to set their own hours and goals. At Kmart, Emily worked as a Sales Associate/Layaway specialist, excelling in customer service and leading their department to profit increases for two consecutive years. In 2011, they became a Substitute Teacher at Butler County School Systems, gaining experience working with children with behavioral and developmental disabilities. Emily also held roles at LifeSkills, Inc. as a PDS Support Broker and a CDO Support Broker, providing support to families receiving various waivers. Emily worked as a CDO employee for the Michelle P. Waiver to provide respite care for their autistic brother at Michelle P. Waiver. Currently, Emily is the Family Resource Center Coordinator at Rockfield Elementary School, where they are responsible for coordinating resources for families. Throughout their career, Emily has developed strong skills in customer service, adaptability, and working with individuals with varying needs.
Emily Gentry completed their high school education at Butler County High School from 2003 to 2007. Emily then attended Western Kentucky University, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in History and Sociology from 2007 to 2011.
