Juan Merayo began their work experience as an Assistant Professor at Pontificia Universidad Catolica Madre y Maestra from 1998 to 2002. Juan then worked as an AP/CP Pathology Resident at Danbury Hospital from 2003 to 2008, where they trained in various areas of Anatomic and Clinical pathology. Following this role, they became a BB/TM Fellow at Hershey Medical Center from 2008 to 2009. Juan then served as the Blood Bank Director at Referencia Banco de Sangre from 2010 to 2012 before becoming the Medical Director at LifeSouth Community Blood Centers in 2012.
