Ben Weddel

Ben Weddel has worked for several companies since 2010. Ben began their career at BDO Canada as a Junior Analyst in the Project Management Office. Ben then moved to Newcrest Mining as a Mine Accountant in 2011. Ben returned to BDO Canada as a Business Analyst in Marketing in 2013. In 2014, they joined HackerYou as a Front-End Web Developer. In 2015, they began working for Bibliocommons as a Front-End Developer (Contract). Ben then joined LifeSpeak Inc. as a Full-Stack Developer, progressing to a Sr. Full-Stack Developer and then to Director of Digital Operations. In their role at LifeSpeak Inc., Ben Weddel worked with technologies such as HTML5/CSS3, JavaScript + Angular, C# ASP.NET 6.0, SQL Server 2019, and Xamarin.

Ben Weddel attended Neuchâtel Junior College from 2007 to 2008, where they obtained their High School degree. Ben then attended Wilfrid Laurier University from 2008 to 2012, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Finance and International Business. Currently, Ben Weddel is attending HackerYou for Front-End Web Development.
