Patricia Ming

Patricia Ming has a diverse work history in the social services field. Patricia began their career in 1994 as a Mental Health Technician Specialist at 45th Street Mental Health, where they worked on an adult stabilization unit and provided independent living support for mentally ill clients. From there, they went on to work as a Mental Health Technician Specialist at Mercy, where they provided crisis counseling and therapy for patients transitioning to independent living.

In 1997, Patricia worked as a Community Resource Developer at STAR CHOICES, INC., where they developed opportunities for individuals with developmental disabilities in the community. Patricia then moved on to become a Social Service Technician Sr at Phoenix Center in 1998, where they provided substance abuse counseling and crisis management for women.

In 1999, Patricia joined the Family Service Agency of Santa Barbara as a Big Brothers Big Sisters Case Manager, where they matched volunteer mentors with high-risk youth and provided case management support. Patricia later became a Hacienda Girls Ranch Program Supervisor at Children's Home Society of Florida in 2002, overseeing program operations and coordinating services for children in foster care.

Patricia then worked as a Caseworker III at El Paso County Department of Human Services in 2005, providing case management and referral services for clients aged 13-25. From 2005 to 2007, they served as an Intensive Case Manager at Urban Peak Colorado Springs, providing case management and coordinating wrap-around services for homeless youth.

In 2008, Patricia became the Vice President of ICF Services at Progressive Careers and Housing, where they oversaw the operations of multiple ICFDD facilities and provided training and supervision to staff. Most recently, they have been working as a Risk and Corporate Compliance Manager at LifeStream Behavioral Center, Inc. since 2013.

Throughout their career, Patricia has gained extensive experience in case management, program supervision, counseling, and community development.

Patricia Ming's education history begins in 1984 when they attended Jupiter High School and graduated with a High School Diploma in 1987. Patricia then enrolled in Asbury University from 1991 to 1994 and obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology/Sociology. In 2003, Patricia attended Canyon College for a brief period and studied Mental Health Counseling/Counselor. In 2005, they attended The Institute for Families at the University of Denver and completed Child Welfare Caseworker Training. In 2006 to 2007, Patricia enrolled in Odyssey Training Center and obtained a CAC III (Certified Addictions Counselor) Certification.
