Sharat Mendu

Sharat Mendu is an experienced professional in the fields of research and development as well as global quality management, currently serving as Senior Director of R&D and Global Quality at LifeStyles Healthcare since August 2023. Prior to this role, Sharat held various positions at Reckitt, including Senior Director of R&D and Senior Category R&D Manager from November 2020 to June 2023, and has an extensive background in R&D management and product development, having worked as Category R&D Manager, Regional R&D Manager, and Project Manager for Sexual Wellbeing (Durex) from July 2012 to September 2020. Sharat's career began at Unilever as Claims & Product Appraisal Manager and Product Development Manager from July 2008 to February 2012, and experience also includes time at Ippro Inc as an Associate and a summer internship at General Electric focused on global intellectual property and legal operations. Sharat holds a Bachelor of Technology in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and completed high school at Sainik School Korukonda.
