Shawndi Johnson

Shawndi Johnson is an experienced professional with a strong background in social services and program management. Currently serving as the Director of Evidence-Based Programs at LifeWorks Austin since December 2020, Shawndi supports fidelity and implementation measures across the agency. In addition, Shawndi works as a Resource Consultant for the Austin Film Society, collaborating with the Creative Careers community education team to provide essential resources for program participants. Previously, Shawndi held positions including Program Manager for Father Engagement at Children's Bureau, where services focused on vulnerable children in Southern California, and Program Supervisor at the Orange County Child Abuse Prevention Center, directing various funded programs. Early career experience includes serving as a Residential Counselor at Florence Crittenton, working with system-involved youth. Shawndi holds a Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from California State University, Fullerton.
