Jonathan Ayache

Jonathan Ayache is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer at LIFT Airline, a new airline that focuses on offering a flexible operating model and a world-class customer experience. Prior to this, they held various roles at Uber, including Head of Operations - Sub Saharan Africa and General Manager - South Africa. Jonathan also worked as an Operations & Logistics Manager at Uber. Before Uber, Jonathan served as a Senior Business Analyst at Eighty20, a management consultancy specializing in data-driven research and analysis. Jonathan also worked as a Private Mathematics and Statistics Tutor as a sole proprietor and as an Economics and Finance Tutor at the University of Cape Town. Jonathan started their career with a week-long Internship at Investec, where they gained exposure to the banking industry.

Jonathan Ayache completed their Executive Education at Uber, specializing in Strategy & Leadership, from Harvard Business School Online between 2017 and 2019. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Business Science (Honours) in Finance, Economics, and Statistics from the University of Cape Town from 2006 to 2009. Jonathan also participated in the Machon World Leadership Seminar in 2005. Their secondary education includes completing their Senior Certificate at Herzlia High School from 2001 to 2004. Additionally, they have obtained a certification in Organization Design from LinkedIn in 2020.
