Jacqui Mieksztyn

Jacqui Mieksztyn is a Program Manager at LIFT, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of low-income individuals and families. Jacqui has over six years of experience working in the economic development and talent attraction & retention field. Jacqui has a passion for helping others reach their full potential and has dedicated their career to making a difference in the lives of Michigan residents.

Jacqui began their career as a Sr. Program Manager at the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC), where they managed the Talent Enhancement Program. In this role, they worked with businesses, educators, and community leaders to create programs that would help Michigan residents gain the skills they need to be successful in the workforce.

From there, Jacqui became the Manager of Talent Programs at MEDC. In this role, they led a team of talented individuals who worked to connect Michigan residents with in-demand jobs and career development opportunities. Jacqui was also responsible for overseeing the Michigan Advanced Technician Training (MAT2) program and the Community College Skilled Trades Equipment Program (CCSTEP).

In June 2015, Jacqui left MEDC to join Thomas P. Miller and Associates as the Director of Business Strategy. In this role, they collaborated with clients in the private and public sector to deliver solutions for economic development, education, and workforce development. Jacqui utilized their expertise in talent attraction & retention, program design, project management, facilitation,

Jacqui Mieksztyn has a Master of Arts in Communication from Western Michigan University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Michigan State University. Jacqui is also certified as a Certified Everything DiSC Trainer from Wiley.

Jacqui Mieksztyn reports to Phaedra Wainaina, Director, of EWD. They work with Eileen Pickett - Program Manager (Contractor), Marianne Donoghue - Director, EWD Programs, and Amyia Watson - EWD Intern.
