Senior Engineer Hydrogen Projects at LIFTE H2

Julie Nhan has a diverse work experience starting from 2015. In 2015, they worked as a Research Intern at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, where they conducted studies on the effect of confinement on a jet. Their responsibilities included data acquisition, data post-processing, and hot-wire soldering.

In 2016, Julie worked as a Mathematics/Physics Tutor at Tutors in China, providing tutoring services in those subjects.

From February to May 2017, they worked as a Physics Tutor at College Connections Ltd.

Later in 2017, they joined Nestle Skin Health S.A. as a Project Management Coordinator for the Ginkgo Project. In this role, they assisted the End-to-End Project Manager with coordination tasks for the start-up of a Greenfield plant in China. Their responsibilities included risk analysis, implementation of business processes connected to SAP, introduction of Lean practices, and operator training.

In September 2017, Julie started working as a Field Operations Engineer at Air Liquide, where they were involved in the maintenance and operational aspects of LNG-CNG refueling units for heavy-duty applications. In 2020, they were promoted to Asset Performance Manager for the same units.

Most recently, Julie joined LIFTE H2 in March 2022 as a Senior Operations Engineer, focusing on hydrogen projects.

Julie Nhan started their education at Lycée Louis le Grand from 2008 to 2011, where they earned their Baccalauréat S degree. Julie continued their studies at Lycée Saint-Louis from 2011 to 2013, although the specific field of study is unknown. In 2013, Julie enrolled at ENSTA Paris, where they pursued a Master of Science in Engineering with a concentration in Mechanical Engineering. Their studies at ENSTA Paris lasted until 2017. During this time, from 2014 to 2014, Julie also studied at Beijing Normal University, focusing on Chinese. Additionally, they pursued a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering and Fluid Mechanics from Shanghai Jiao Tong University from 2015 to 2017.
