Ilya Scharrenbroich

Ilya Scharrenbroich has over 15 years of experience in software engineering. Ilya began their career in 1999 as a Web Developer at Bolt Media. In 2002, they joined Alloy Media + Marketing as an Application Developer, where they designed and developed corporate Intranet applications. In 2003, they joined Digital Variant as a Senior Application Developer, developing and maintaining web-based applications. In 2006, they joined Goldman, Sachs & Co. as a Vice President (Technology), designing and developing front-office applications for the Securities Lending desk. Ilya then returned to Alloy Media + Marketing as a Senior Application Developer. In 2012, they became the Lead Developer for doormates, a hyper-local social discovery site, and Co-Founder & Lead Developer for Mommy Nearest. From 2013 to 2019, they were a Senior Software Engineer at Estimize, where they built and maintained various machine learning algorithms. In 2019, they joined LiftForward as a Senior Software Engineer.

Ilya Scharrenbroich attended The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) from 2005 to 2006, where they earned a General Course in Economics. Ilya then attended Binghamton University from 2003 to 2006, where they earned a BA in Economics. In 2014, Ilya obtained a certification in Machine Learning from Coursera.
