Alejandra Ugarte

Alejandra Ugarte has a diverse work experience that spans several industries and roles. Alejandra currently works as a Sales Engineer at Liftoff Mobile, starting in August 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Lightful as a Business Analyst from November 2019 to August 2021.

In 2018, Alejandra worked at Bright Analytics, where they held two roles. First, as a Product Manager from February 2019 to November 2019, they served as a client liaison, conducted meetings, and wrote technical specifications. Additionally, they worked as an Implementation Manager from June 2018 to February 2019, where they collaborated with brands like SKY and OMD, integrating data feeds and APIs to create a unified data interface.

Before Bright Analytics, from October 2017 to June 2018, Alejandra worked at Fetch as a Senior Data Executive. Alejandra improved team efficiencies, automated data collection and cleaning processes, and reduced reporting time for clients. Prior to that, they worked as a Data Executive from June 2016 to October 2017, where they collated data from various platforms, built reports, and assisted with onboarding new clients.

Earlier in their career, Alejandra had shorter roles as a Shop Assistant at Marie Curie UK in 2015 and as an Open Day Steward at the University of York in 2014. Alejandra also worked as part of the Promotion Team at The University of York Students' Union in May 2015, conducting interviews with students to gather feedback.

Alejandra Ugarte began their education journey at Teddington School, where they attended from 2007 to 2011. During their time there, they focused on subjects such as Maths, English, Science, Languages, and Humanities. Alejandra then moved on to Richmond upon Thames College, where they pursued their high school education from 2011 to 2013. Here, they studied English Literature, Maths, Biology, Psychology, Spanish, and Economics.

After completing high school, Alejandra went on to the University of York, where they obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. Alejandra attended the university from 2013 to 2016.

In addition to their formal education, Alejandra has also acquired various certifications. Notably, they completed several data science-related courses on Coursera, including Data Science Capstone, Developing Data Products, Practical Machine Learning, Regression Models, Statistical Inference, Reproducible Research, Exploratory Data Analysis, Getting and Cleaning Data, R Programming, and The Data Scientist's Toolbox. Alejandra completed these courses between June 2017 and April 2018. Additionally, they obtained the TMC Qualified: Attribution Analytics certification from TUNE in January 2017 and the IPA Foundation Certificate from the IPA (Institute of Practitioners in Advertising).
