Rubén Bote García

Rubén Bote García has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Rubén started their career at VASS in 2008 as a Programador, where they developed desktop applications for Telefónica I+D and web applications for LDA (Linea Directa aseguradora).

In 2010, Rubén joined Advanced Technological Knowledge as a Desarrollador web, focusing on web development. Rubén then moved on to Planet Media in 2011, working as an Analista-Programador, before transitioning to Mitula Group in 2014.

At Mitula Group, Rubén held various positions, including Analista-Programador and Responsable Aplicaciones Internas. Rubén was responsible for developing, improving, and troubleshooting an ad-aggregator portal using technologies such as J2EE, Javascript, jQuery, AJAX, MySQL, Solr, Apache Lucene, and Tomcat. Rubén also worked on internal applications and report generation using Google APIs and FFmpeg for video generation.

In 2019, Rubén joined LIFULL Connect as a Data Tools & Web Technical Team Lead, and later took on roles such as B2C Technical Manager, Associate Product Manager, and currently as a Product Manager. In their current role, Rubén leads a multifunctional team focused on evolving various portals and delivering iterative products using agile practices and DevOps. Rubén collaborates with the Product Manager on strategic decision-making, architecture, and technical design.

Rubén Bote García has a diverse education history. In 2020, they pursued a short-term course in Product Management, specializing in digital products, at The Product Monster. Prior to this, from 2010 to 2019, Rubén studied at Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia - U.N.E.D. and obtained a degree in Administration and Business Management. Before that, from 2005 to 2009, they attended Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, where they received a degree as an Ingeniero Técnico (Technical Engineer) in Information Technology Management.

In addition to their formal education, Rubén has obtained a certification from the Management 3.0 institution. In July 2021, they completed the Fundamentals Online Workshop, which further enhances their knowledge and skills in management.
