Hyeongu Son

Hyeongu Son has extensive work experience in the field of research engineering and system integration. From 2011 to the present, they have been working at LIG Nex1 as a Chief Research Engineer. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Research Engineer at the same company from 2018 to 2019. During their time at LIG Nex1, Hyeongu was involved in various projects related to diver detection sonar, network design for underwater surveillance systems, and installation of underwater acoustic sensors. Before joining LIG Nex1, they worked as an Installation Engineer at BRAIN CONSULTING LTD from 2000 to 2003.

Hyeongu Son's education history begins in 1999 when they attended Kongju National University and obtained certification for two years in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Hyeongu then pursued their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Engineering at Chungnam National University from 2004 to 2007. Continuing their studies at the same institution, Hyeongu earned their Master's Degree in Computer Engineering between 2007 and 2009. Finally, they engaged in a Ph.D. course in Network traffic measurement, also at Chungnam National University, from 2009 to 2011, where they received a Certificate of Ph.D. Course.
