Rita Sakus

Rita Sakus has worked in a variety of roles in the business world, beginning with their role as Country Manager for Transcom Worldwide Lithuania in 2004. In 2007, they began working as a business development independent contractor. In 2018, they became a Founding Member and Board Member of the Lithuanian Business Angel Network. In 2019, they were appointed Committee Chair for the Entrepreneurial MBA Final Thesis at Vilnius University. In 2020, they became a Lead Angel Investor for Ligence and a Business Angel for Viezo. In 2021, they joined Mindletic as an Angel Investor and became an Advisory Board Member for Lithuania's Ministry of Economy and Innovation. Finally, in 2022, they became an Angel Investor for #walk15.app and a Board Member for the European Business Angels Network.

Rita Sakus has an extensive educational background. Rita obtained a Hons. BA from the University of Toronto - University of St. Michael's College in International Relations/ Political Economics from 1991-1995. Rita then went on to obtain their MBA from the D'Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University from 1997-1999. In 2014, they earned a Certificate from Harvard Business School Executive Education in International Business. In 2018, they received a Certificate of Graduation from the Baltic Institute of Corporate Governance in Corporate Governance and a Certificate of Graduation in Board Member Education, which they are currently pursuing. Additionally, they hold two certifications, an Instructor (msdt) certification from PADI obtained in 2011 and a Motorcycle certification from the Massachusetts Motor Transportation Association obtained in 2001.
