Viphretuo Mere

Viphretuo Mere is a Process Engineer at LIGENTEC since July 2023, bringing prior experience as a Postdoctoral Scholar at UC San Diego from February 2021 to June 2023, where work focused on hybrid-bonded Silicon-Lithium Niobate high-speed electro-optic modulators. Earlier experience includes a tenure as a Trainee Scientist at CSIR-CEERI from September 2012 to June 2015, emphasizing process integration based on MEMS technology and the design and fabrication of MEMS-based thermal actuators and micromirrors. Viphretuo Mere holds a PhD from the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) in Photonic Integrated Circuits, a Master of Technology in Advanced Semiconductor Electronics from the Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research, and a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Nagaland University.
