Payam Safa is an experienced entrepreneur and leader with a diverse background in technology and business development. Currently serving as the Founder of Light DAO since January 2023, Payam focuses on creating a global community of conscious entrepreneurs and investors. As the Founder and CEO of Obi, a leading ridehail aggregator, and Co-Founder of Possibility School, which promotes growth mindset and emotional intelligence for children, Payam showcases a commitment to innovation and education. Previous ventures include founding Bellhop, a hotel concierge platform, and Chanelink, a hotel distribution automation platform, as well as a significant role in Batiqa Hotels. Early career experiences include consulting at Accenture and programming for Northrop Grumman. Payam holds an MBA from INSEAD and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from UCLA.

Light Dao Foundation, a California 501(c)(6) Non-Profit, is collectively operated by an invite-only trusted global community of over 1,000 conscious investors and entrepreneurs.
