Nilay Shah

Nilay Shah is a seasoned HR professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles across the hospitality and travel industries. Currently serving as a Senior HR Manager - HRBP at Light since January 2024, Nilay previously held the position of Head of Sales at Intend Global Travel Services. Significant HR contributions were made at Hilton and Marriott International as a Human Resources Manager, and earlier as Assistant Manager HR at Marriott. Notably, Nilay received recognition for contributing to the best hotel award across the APAC region for select service brands in 2019 while at Marriott. Additional experience includes roles at ITC Hotels, Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Hotel Sarovar Portico, 20 Microns Limited, and Eureka Forbes Ltd. Nilay holds multiple degrees from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, as well as an MBA in Human Resources Management from Indira Gandhi National Open University.
