Tim Terrell

Tim Terrell is the current Director of Analytics at Lightbeam Health Solutions, and they have been with the company since 2015. Prior to that, they were the Chief Information Officer at Cornerstone Health Care from 1998-2015. While at Cornerstone, Tim created the Information Services department and oversaw its growth from two employees to fifty. Tim also implemented the Allscripts Touchworks EMR in 2005 and helped make Cornerstone a National Showcase Site for Allscripts in 2010.

Under Tim's leadership, Cornerstone's patient satisfaction percentages climbed from the mid-70s to above 90%. This success can be attributed to Tim's commitment to creating workflow tools and information systems that empower encounter specialists, nurse navigators, case managers, and other providers. Tim is a strong believer in creating a responsive, consistent user experience and maintaining security, integrity, and recoverability.

Tim Terrell has a Master of Science in Computer Science from North Carolina State University, a Master's Degree in American Religious Theirtory from Earlham School of Religion, and a Bachelor's Degree in Religion/Religious Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Tim also has certification from Allscripts in Analytics Training and Interface Training, Winston-Salem in Health IT Law Training, Raleigh in Microsoft SQL Server Administration, Forsyth Technical Community College in Network Systems, SAS in Advanced SAS Programming, Forsyth Technical Community College in UNIX, North Carolina State University in Object Oriented Languages and Systems, and NC Industrial Extension and NC State University in Six Sigma Green Belt.
