Andrew van Amson

Andrew van Amson has worked in a variety of roles since 1995. Andrew began their career as a Manager/Head Auto Mechanic at Crested Butte Auto Repair. In 2000, they became the Manager of Boulder Baked Cookies, where they reduced overhead costs by 50%. From 2002-2006, they worked at Backroads in three different roles, including Facilities Coordinator, Logistics and Transportation Coordinator, and Trip Leader. In 2006, they moved to Mountain Hardwear as a Senior Demand Planner, Regional Supply Planner, and Customer Operations Specialist. In 2011, they became the Supply Chain Manager at Fitness Anywhere LLC. In 2012, they worked at both GoPro and Lithium Technologies, in roles as a Logistics Coordinator and Financial Operations Analyst, respectively. Finally, since 2015, they have been the Director of Sales Operations and Sales Operations Manager at Lightbend, Inc., where they are responsible for closing all subscription, consulting, and training business, facilitating global sales calls, and managing commissions plans for all quota carrying employees.

Andrew van Amson began their educational journey at the University of Michigan in 1989, where they studied until 1993. Andrew then moved on to the University of Colorado Boulder, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in 2000 and 2001 in the fields of English and History.
