Paul Loeffen

CEO at Lightcast Discovery

Paul Loeffen is the current CEO at Lightcast Discovery. Prior to this, they were the Vice President and General Manager at Agilent Technologies, where they led the Molecular Spectroscopy business. This included UV-Vis, UV-Vis-NIR, FTIR, Raman and Fluorescence products. Before Agilent Technologies, Loeffen worked as the Chief Executive Officer at Cobalt Light Systems Limited from September 2009 to November 2017. The company was acquired by Agilent in 2017. Prior to Cobalt Light Systems Limited, Loeffen was the Marketing Manager at Oxford Instruments from September 1997 to March 2001. Paul started their career as a Research Student at CERN from September 1987 to August 1988.

Paul Loeffen has a PhD in Physics from the University of Warwick, a Masters in MBA from Oxford Brookes University, and a BSc in Physics from the University of Warwick.
