Tom Isaac currently serves as the Director of Microfluidic Products at Lightcast, a position held since March 2021, having previously been the Senior Head of Microfluidic Products and leading the development of instrumentation and microfluidics products. Prior to Lightcast, Tom worked as a Consultant at TTP plc and as Chief Scientist at Lightcast Discovery. Tom's earlier experience includes a significant role as a Senior Scientist at Base4, where contributions were made to the development of novel single-molecule DNA sequencing technology. Tom holds a Ph.D. in Physics and a BSc in Physics, both obtained from the University of Exeter.
