Javier Rengel Jimenez

Javier Rengel Jimenez has over 13 years of work experience. Javier began their career in 2007 as a Telephonist at EUROCEN EUROPEA DE CONTRATAS, S.A. In 2009, they joined Asesores Locales S.A. as a Computer Engineer, developing J2EE applications and web development using PHP, CSS, HTML, Javascript and MySQL. In 2012, they were hired by OpenBet as a Software Developer, working on web backend development for sportsbook sites. In 2013, they joined Top10 as a Senior Developer, developing scalable and efficient web backend systems mainly in Scala but also in Clojure and Python. In 2015, they were hired by Lantum as a Senior Software Engineer and Senior Software Developer, designing and maintaining their Python microservice architecture on Kubernetes in AWS. In 2019, they joined Stacker as a Full Stack Engineer, designing a dynamic API that could not be tied to a specific schema or configuration. In 2020, they joined Pashi as a Technical Lead, leading the tech stack and refactoring the main Golang codebase. Most recently, in 2022, they joined Lightdash as a Software Engineer.
