Sharon Huang

Sharon Huang's work experience starts with their role as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Stanford University from August 1986 to August 1988. Sharon then became an Associate Professor at Shanghai Jiao Tong University from August 1988 to September 1990. Following this, they worked as a Physical Sciences Research Associate at Stanford University from September 1990 to January 1993. Sharon then joined the University of Toronto as a Senior Research Associate from January 1993 to September 1997. After that, they became a Senior Scientist & Group Leader at JDSU from September 1997 to January 2000. Lastly, they served as the VP of R&D at LIGHTEL starting from January 2000.

Sharon Huang completed their education at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Sharon obtained a Master's Degree in Fiber Optics, which they pursued from 1979 to 1982. Following that, they went on to earn a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Fiber Optics from the same university, completing their doctoral studies from 1982 to 1985.
