Ian Gardiner

Ian Gardiner is a seasoned venture capital professional with extensive experience in the startup ecosystem. As a Partner at Jelix Ventures since September 2018, Ian focuses on investing in top-tier Australian tech startups. Ian co-founded Innovation Bay in February 2003, fostering a community for founders and investors in Australia and New Zealand. Additionally, Ian holds a role in business development for Lighter Capital, the leading provider of non-dilutive debt capital to startups in Australia. Active in YPO since 2012, Ian has served in various committee roles, demonstrating leadership in the organization. Previous positions include Head of Startups at Amazon Web Services, where Ian established key relationships within the startup community, and CEO and Founder of Viocorp, where Ian played a critical role in building the business. With an education from the University of Oxford and the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Ian brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the industry.
