Brett Crozier

Brett Crozier is the CEO of LTA Research, leading the team in developing innovative lighter-than-air solutions to make air travel more efficient, sustainable, and adaptable. A Northern California native and lifelong aviation enthusiast, Brett is a 30-year U.S. Navy veteran who commanded at the highest operational levels, including an F/A-18 strike fighter squadron, the USS Blue Ridge, and the nuclear-powered aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt.

After retiring from the Navy, he served as COO of a major veteran homeless center and as a senior executive at a financial software firm. A certified Airline Transport Pilot with over 3,200 flight hours in helicopters and tactical jets, Brett has flown more than 50 combat missions and completed 500 carrier landings. He holds degrees from the U.S. Naval Academy and the Naval War College and is a graduate of the Navy’s Nuclear Power School. He lives in the Bay Area with his wife Mary, founder and CEO of a software consultancy.
