Patrick Perdu has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Patrick currently works as a Principal Software Engineer at LTA Research and Exploration, where they lead the Embedded Software team and contributes to various projects, including safety critical code development. Prior to this, Patrick held a role as Principal Systems Design Engineer at Defibtech, LLC, working on the Advanced Resuscitation Machine (ARM) project and coding firmware and Python test and data analysis tools. Patrick also served as a Senior Lead Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer for the same project. Earlier in their career, Patrick worked as a Software Engineer at Defibtech, where they developed code for the Graphic Display Module and contributed to DSP code. Patrick also worked as a Senior Design Engineer at Heart Transverter S.A., designing a scalable multi-purpose power converter. Additionally, Patrick served as a Design Engineer at Xerox CFET, contributing to the system-level design of continuous feed printers, and as an International Technical Support Manager at Set Electronique, overseeing technical support for industrial laser printers.
Patrick Perdu began their education in 1984 at the Institution Joint Lambert, where they pursued a Baccalauréat C degree in Maths, Physics, and English. Patrick completed this program in 1986. Following this, from 1986 to 1992, Patrick attended ESME, where they earned an Engineer degree (equivalent to a US MSEE/MSME) in Mechanics, Electrotechnics, Electronics, and Automation.
In terms of additional certifications, Patrick obtained a Data Analytics for Business Professionals certification from LinkedIn in May 2022.
