Sean Denny has a diverse work experience spanning from 2000 to 2022. Sean started their career at FCB as an Account Planner, where they conducted consumer research and created strategies for clients such as Taco Bell and LucasArts. Sean then worked at LucasArts as the Director of Consumer Insights, growing the department and providing data and insights for marketing and development teams. During their time at LucasArts, they were involved in the launch of various titles, including Star Wars: Battlefront and LEGO Star Wars 2.
Sean later joined Gazillion Entertainment as the Director of Product Marketing, focusing on early marketing efforts for an online MMO kids IP. At PlayFirst, Inc., they served as the Director of Product Marketing and oversaw market research and product development for new IPs and sequels.
At eBay, Sean held the position of Senior Manager, Consumer Insights, where they researched and analyzed shopping behaviors, particularly in relation to mobile commerce and geo-location based services. Sean then moved to Electronic Arts as the Director of Consumer Product Marketing & Insights, where they focused on brand and product strategy informed by insights, with an emphasis on mobile customer experience.
Their next role was at Riot Games, where they initially served as the Senior Player Insights Manager, followed by roles as the EU Insights Lead and Team Captain for European Growth. In these positions, they contributed to the acquisition and onboarding of new gamers to League of Legends and provided data-informed insights to improve player experiences.
Sean's career continued at Epic Games, where they held the position of Director, European Marketing. Sean formed a world-class team and played a key role in the successful launch of Fortnite: Battle Royale.
Most recently, Sean joined Wargaming as the Publishing Director / West, overseeing publishing operations. Currently, they are working as the Head of Publishing at Lightforge Games.
Sean Denny attended Carleton University from 1992 to 1995, where they studied Psychology. After that, they enrolled at Centennial College from 1995 to 1997, focusing on Creative Advertising.
