Karen Ortega

Karen Ortega has significant experience in educational and retail environments. Currently serving as a Student Aide at Lighthouse Community Public Schools since July 2022, Karen previously worked as a Paraprofessional at Butterfly Effects from October 2019 to October 2022 and held roles at Behavioral Health Works, Inc. and ACES as a Behavior Therapist. In addition to educational roles, Karen has retail experience, including positions as a Book Seller at Barnes & Noble, a Sales Associate Cashier at Macy's, and a Sales Associate at ANN INC., where client communication and styling were key responsibilities. Karen completed a High School education at Lighthouse Community Charter School and earned a degree from San Jose State University between 2015 and 2019.
