John Gallagher

John Gallagher, MBA, CCUIA, CUERME, currently serves as the VP of Internal Audit at Lighthouse Credit Union, a position held since June 2022. Additionally, John has been the Board Vice Chairperson of ACUARP since 2015, where responsibilities include governance and fiscal oversight of the Association. From January 1992 to July 2022, John held the role of Director of Internal Audit at SEFCU, overseeing the internal audit function with a focus on a risk-based approach. Earlier in John's career, John worked as an Accounting Manager at Tompkins County Trust Company and as an Accountant. John holds an MBA in Business Administration from the University at Albany, a BS in Finance from St John Fisher, and an Associate's Degree in Accounting from Hudson Valley Community College.
