Maria Regina Flores

Maria Regina Flores is a highly experienced professional in the fields of microbiology and biotechnology, currently serving as a Study Manager at LIGHTHOUSE Instruments since January 2023. Previously, Maria held the role of Research and Development Scientist at Promicol B.V. from January 2022 to January 2023, where responsibilities included the design and writing of scientific protocols and risk management assessments. Maria's experience at Merck as a Senior Specialist in Microbiology from December 2018 to December 2020 involved supporting the development and validation of rapid microbiology methods. Earlier roles include postdoctoral researcher positions at Utrecht University, focusing on microbial community dynamics and phosphorus dynamics in marine sediments, as well as a postdoctoral research fellowship at Proimi - CONICET studying extremophilic bacteria.
