Tilak Lal

Tilak Lal has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Tilak is currently the Head of Risk at Luminae Partners LLC, a boutique managed account and platform services provider. Prior to this, they held the same position at Lighthouse Investment Partners, LLC. Tilak also has experience in the academic field, serving as the Chair of the Board of Trustees at Rutgers University and as an Advisory Board Member at the University of Connecticut. Tilak has also held various advisory roles at Rutgers University School of Engineering and Rutgers University - Masters of Science in Mathematical Finance. Furthermore, Tilak has extensive experience in the financial industry, including roles such as Senior Vice President and Co-Head of the Investment Risk Management Group at Franklin Templeton Investments, Managing Director and Chief Risk Officer at K2 Advisors, and Chief Risk Officer at Pequot Capital Management. Tilak began their career as the Head of Financial Engineering at DST International.
