Chris Short

Chris Short has extensive work experience in product management and technology consulting. Chris is currently a Sr. Director of Product at Capital One, leading the Voice Servicing product team. Chris is responsible for developing context-aware and proactive experiences using Conversational AI technologies. Prior to this role, they served as a Director of Product at Capital One, where they defined product vision and strategic roadmap for a team of product owners and tech teams.

In addition to their work at Capital One, Chris also worked at Amazon as a Principal Product Manager, where they led efforts to externalize the Alexa Echo Show Platform and integrate Alexa multimodal experiences into partner devices. Chris also held the position of Senior Product Manager at Amazon.

Before their time at Amazon, Chris worked as a Management Consultant at McKinsey & Company, focusing on strategic consulting. Chris also gained experience in technology consulting as an IT Consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton and PPC.

Chris started their career as a Software Developer, working at Amentra and CGI.

Chris Short earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Penn State University, where they attended from 2000 to 2004. Following that, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business, completing their studies from 2011 to 2013.
